Recording Audio

When you’re ready to add audio to your myiDecide presentation, you’ll want to head to the Narration tab located in the Navigation Bar, it’ll take you to a screen that looks similar to this.

The Narration set up includes a preview of your slide on the right, your script on the left, and the recording controls are bottom left of the screen.


Builder Narration Step

If it’s not already activated, a small pop up window may appear to ask if you’d like to give myiDecide permission to access your microphone. Choose allow, and then click the “Start Recording” button  below your script.  This will begin recording your microphone immediately.

You can record each line in real time as many times as you’d like. When you’re finished don’t forget to hit “End Recording” and review your options.

Choose the best version and make sure you click “Use This Recording” on the right side of your file. However take note, once you have made your choice, the builder will delete your other takes, so make sure you choose the right one.

If this option isn’t for you, it’s also easy to upload pre recorded audio files by choosing “Upload a Recording”.  This is located below the “Start a Recording” Button.

For those who would like to use this option but do not have the pre-recorded audio we made it easy for you to purchase an AI generated voiceover by selecting the “Purchase an AI Generated Voiceover” button.
