Using iDecide AI

iDecide AI acts as your AI assistant and can do almost anything you can in your back office! Ask it about your presentation activity in plain English, or ask it to do the work for you, like creating a personalized link or adding someone to your contacts.

Where to find it #

  1. Log in to your Back Office at Login.iDecide.com.
  2. Click the iDecide AI tile on your dashboard.
  3. Type your question in the Message iDecide AI box at the bottom and press Enter.

Every conversation is saved. Your chats appear on the left, each one named automatically so you can find it again. Click New Chat any time you want to start over.

What it can do #

Four things, and together they cover most of what you would otherwise click through the Back Office to do.

Analyze your activity

  • Total, completed, and unfinished views
  • All presentations, or just one
  • Any date range you name
  • Trends by country, device, or day of the week
  • Outcomes: the choices viewers made at the end

Look up contacts and history

  • Search contacts by name, email, or phone
  • See a contact's full history, including what they watched and what was created for them
  • Add a new contact

Create your links

  • Create a personalized iDecide URL for a contact
  • Create a Lead Capture iDecide URL that collects a new viewer's details automatically
  • Look up details on a link you already sent

Point you in the right direction

  • Help you pick the right presentation
  • Hand you a direct link into Analytics, your Contact List, Create iDecide URL, Preview, or the builder

Sample Questions to Start With #

Talk to it the way you would talk to an assistant. Full sentences work better than keywords, and you can even ask two things at once.

Your numbers

How many people completed my iDecide this month?
How many links have I sent in the last 30 days?
What is my close rate?
What outcomes did viewers choose?
Show me my views broken down by country and device.

Timing and trends

What is the best day of the week for me to send a presentation?
When was the last time one of my links was watched, and by who?
Which of my presentations gets watched all the way through most often?
How many of my links have never been opened?

People

Has Michael watched the link I sent him yet?
Add Bobby Joe to my contact list.

Create a personalized URL for Sarah Chen.
I want to send a presentation to Bobby Joe.

It only ever sees your data #

iDecide AI is walled off to your account. It reports on how your presentations are doing with the people you sent them to. It never reports on anyone else's activity, or on company-wide totals. Ask it for a company-wide number and it will tell you plainly:

“I only have access to your current account's data, so I can't confirm company-wide totals across other users' accounts.”

So you can ask how many times have I sent this link in the last 30 days, but not how many times a presentation has been sent across the whole company. The same protection works in your favor: nobody else's iDecide AI can see your contacts, your links, or your results.

Good to know #

  • It will ask which presentation. If your question could apply to more than one, it shows your presentations as buttons, so just tap the one you mean instead of typing the name.
  • View times are shown in UTC, not your local time zone. Keep that in mind when you are reading recent activity.
  • It will not critique your content. iDecide AI reports on how your presentations perform. It does not give feedback on the script or the slides themselves.
  • Not sure where to start? Ask it “What can you help me with?” and it will list everything it can do for your account right now.

On the mobile app Coming soon #

iDecide AI is coming to the iDecide app, with the same assistant you use in the Back Office.

  • Open it by tapping the sparkle icon at the top of the app, next to the notifications icon.
  • Swipe right to see your past sessions, and left to get back to the chat.
  • Your sessions sync with the Back Office, so you can start a question on your phone and pick it up on your computer.
  • It jumps you straight to the right screen. Ask something like “How do I get notified about iDecide views?” and it opens your notification settings.
  • A few things stay on the web. Previewing a presentation and the News tab are Back Office only, and it will say so and give you a link.

Still stuck? Reach us at Hi@iDecide.com and we will walk you through it.
