Here, we\u2019ll walk through the Actions Menu & Context Menus. If you want your presentation to look like it was created by a professional designer, this is where the fine-tuning happens.<\/p>\n

Use these menus to add animations, add effects, enter your brand colors and fonts, apply actions, and more to give your slides a polished, professional finish.<\/p>\n

Clicking on any element(text, shapes, images, & videos) will cause this menu to appear.<\/p>\n

Actions<\/strong>- Clicking Actions will open a window on the leftside of the screen. You'll be able to select what action will be performed when an element is clicked. Enabling an action will set Auto-Advance on the slide to 'No'.<\/p>\n

Context Menus<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depending on the type of object you select in your presentation, the Context Menu will display different options tailored specifically to that element.<\/p>\n

The following options will always show in the Context Menus:<\/p>\n

Stroke<\/strong> \u2013 Adjust the outline color. Selecting the three dots (\u22ef) opens additional stroke settings, including: Width, Style, Position, and Join
Animations<\/strong> \u2013 Apply animation effects to the shape.
Shadow<\/strong> \u2013 Apply a shadow effect to the shape.
Opacity<\/strong> \u2013 Adjust the transparency of the shape.
Position<\/strong> \u2013 Modify the placement and alignment of the shape.
Inspector Icon<\/strong> \u2013 Click Inspector to display all Context Menu options in a toolbar on the left side of the screen.<\/p>\n

      How to use the slide categories in <\/strong>myiDecide<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

      myiDecide is our Drag-N-Drop presentation tool. Simply select your slide you would like to use and drag it into your timeline. You can also click the slide and it will automatically put that slide at the end of your timeline or just before your closing slides.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      Important note:<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

      For a complete presentation<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      experience, your presentation must include an \u201cIntro<\/strong>\u201d slide and \u201cclosing<\/strong>\u201d slide. You can\u2019t start without an intro slide, and you can\u2019t finish without a closing slide.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      How do you edit the slides?<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

      These fields correspond with various text and design elements you see in the real time preview just to the right of the edit field. This is an Edit Field<\/strong>\u00a0>>>>>>>><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n

      The edit field is where you can change the text, font, size and color of various elements in the slide you are currently editing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      You can also use your own imagery if the slides default images don't match your personal<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      We\u2019ll briefly go over the various slide type that can make up your presentation. These slide may vary in animation and interaction but can be used in specific ways. Some slide types convey your ideas better than others. So let\u2019s get started!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      Start by using an <\/strong>Intro<\/strong>\u00a0Slide!<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

      Like every essay or presentation,<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      you will need an intro. Our intro slides are simply a way for the viewer to start watching your presentation. Quite literally, they have to press the start button to initiate the presentation!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      Add some <\/strong>Text Slides<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

      The text slides are a good way to add inflection to a presentation. When accompanied by a voice over, your presentation is sure to gain attention and significance. By including key words on screen you are essentially adding emphasis to your topics. You can also add emphasis to a topic by including powerful imagery!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      EXAMPLE:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      \u201cGlobal warming is devastating Communities and ravaging food supply.\u201d Rather than typing the entire sentence on screen, let's emphasize \u201cDevastating Communities.\u201d For the background image, let\u2019s add something related to global warming.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      This allows your viewer to listen to the voice over while making you content more digestible to read. A picture is worth a thousand words after all!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      Adding a <\/strong>Menu Slide<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

      Probably our most complex slide due to its ability to serve as the \u201cNexus\u201d of your presentation. \u00a0Menu slides function as a \u201cFork in the road\u201d for your viewers; meaning they have the ability to choose where they want to go and what content they want to view. We recommend using 2 - 4 option Menus, but we have included more options for those who need more to express themselves or their company!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      Now currently, your timeline won\u2019t look exactly like this comprehensive illustration, but this is how the menu should function within your timeline.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      • Much like other slides you can edit text and imagery within the menu slide.\r\n

          Important note:<\/strong>\u00a0You can guide your audience back to the menu you\u2019ve already created.           Edit Field<\/strong>. Doing this will automatically send the viewer<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          back to your menu, giving them the opportunity to select<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          a different option to view.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          Adding a <\/strong>Logo Reveal Slide<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

          Just like the slide says, this is where you reveal your logo! Our logo reveal slides are interactive; the audience will have to engage with the presentation to continue forward. We currently have 3 logo reveal types:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          Rub Your Screen, Press and Hold, and Shatter.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          There are multiple images that can be changed within the logo reveal slides.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          -Cover image (the image that will disappear)<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          Adding <\/strong>Button Interactions<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n\r\n

          Button interactions are a great way to keep engagement as well as proposing interesting questions to your audience!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          Cool tips about <\/strong>Button Slides<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

          -Simply select the \u201cButton Target<\/strong>\u201d section and choose \u201cNONE<\/strong>\u201d. Doing this will disable the interactive button and allow you to use the animation without the viewer being able to interact with the slide. The animation will play out and will automatically continue to the next slide. <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n

          -When editing a button slide, delete the button text and insert an image with your logo(s) embedded. We recommend using a 3rd party software such as Adobe Photoshop. You can use our image editor to adjust your image size and placement.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          -Button slides act the same way menu slides do. They only look different! So you can use either or when making your presentation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          Adding <\/strong>Interactive Sliders<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

          Our interactive \u201cSlider\u201d slides are a great way for you to demonstrate percentages, integers and fractions to your audience. Great question examples to use here are:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

          • \u201cHow much would your income need to grow to have the lifestyle you want?\u201d<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n
              \r\n
            • \u201cWhat percentage of human pollution contributes to global warming?\u201d<\/li>\r\n
            • \u201cHow many people do you think you can bring on to your team?\u201d<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

              Our sliders have various steps, 3, 5 and 7 steps; they are all editable in the Edit Field<\/strong>. After the audience has chosen their option on the slider, they will have to click the \u201cMove Ahead\u201d button to continue. Be sure to set the button target to where you want to send your viewers. If no target has been selected, the button will default to the next slide in the presentation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

              Adding <\/strong>Closing Slides<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n

              You are finally wrapping up your own presentation. Congratulations! But hold on, let's make sure you have concluded your presentation. This is where you want to use our closing slides. We currently have 3 types of closings: Call to Action, Contact form, and thank you!

              What is a \u201ccall to action\u201d? In marketing, your call to action is the part of your advertisement that tells your target audience what they should be doing once they finish your presentation. The simplest example of a call to action is \u201cBuy now!\u201d or \u201cSubscribe Now!\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n

              Here is where you can send the viewer anywhere! Yes, we mean ANYWHERE. You can send your audience to your company website or your personal site. Doing this allows your audience to have direct access to your website without the need to google search for it. Giving direct access to your website will increase your odds of compliance as well as build customer relationships (CRM).<\/p>\r\n\r\n
