You can bulk import contacts two ways: a .CSV file in your Back Office, or straight from your phone's contacts in the iDecide Interactive app. Exporting is Back Office only.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Import from your phone<\/h2>\n

The easiest option if you keep your prospects in your phone rather than a CRM.<\/p>\n

  1. Open the iDecide Interactive app.<\/li>\n
  2. Tap ADD CONTACT<\/strong> at the top left.<\/li>\n
  3. Tap Import Multiple Contacts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Select the contacts you want and tap Check Mark<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Anything you import on your phone appears in your Back Office too.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Import from a .CSV file<\/h2>\n

    Best if your prospects already live in a CRM or a spreadsheet. Your file needs a header row and, at minimum, a name column. You can also include Email Address, Phone Number and Notes.<\/p>\n

    1. Save your spreadsheet as a .CSV. In Excel:<\/b> File, Save As, then choose CSV under File Format. This is the step people miss. A plain Excel file will not upload.<\/li>\n
    2. In your Back Office, go to CONTACTS<\/strong> and click IMPORT | EXPORT<\/strong> at the bottom right.<\/li>\n
    3. Click the IMPORT CONTACTS<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
    4. Click the blue Upload<\/strong> button to pick the file, or drag it into the dotted area.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

      Export your contacts<\/h2>\n

      1. In your Back Office, go to CONTACTS<\/strong> and click IMPORT | EXPORT<\/strong> at the bottom right in the back office.<\/li>\n
      2. Click the EXPORT CONTACTS<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
      3. Choose your filters to decide which contacts to include, then export.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The file you get back includes which presentation you sent each person, when they viewed it, and what outcome they chose.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

          Adding, Importing & Exporting Contacts<\/strong><\/p>

          You may already have a list of contacts that you want to send your completed iDecide presentation to. Or you may want to add your contacts to another program such as a CRM. This is easy with iDecide, and important so everyone you want to see your iDecide, does!<\/p>

          Adding a single contact<\/strong><\/p>

          You can add a single contact by logging into the iDecide Back Office, navigating to the contacts page, and choosing the \u201cADD CONTACT<\/strong>\u201d button at the bottom left of the page. You can also log into our mobile app and choose \u201cADD CONTACT<\/strong>\u201d at the top of the home page. <\/p>

          Remember to choose \u201cSAVE<\/strong>\u201d when you\u2019re finished adding your contact\u2019s information. This will automatically add the contact to your contacts list. Using a Post-a-link<\/strong>\u00a0will automatically add any contact\u2019s info who starts the presentation to your Back Office.<\/p>

          Importing Contacts<\/strong><\/p>

          You can import multiple contacts at once to your contact\u2019s list in two ways: using a .csv file on desktop or uploading directly from your phone contacts through our mobile app. <\/p>

          Importing Contacts Using a .csv File<\/strong><\/p>

          Locate the \u201cIMPORT | EXPORT\u201d button at the bottom right of the contacts page in your iDecide Back Office.<\/p>

          Here, you can choose to upload, which will open a <\/p>

          window so you can navigate to, and pick your file, <\/p>

          or you can drag and drop your file straight into the site.<\/p>

          Keep in mind<\/strong>\u00a0your .csv file must have a header row,<\/p>

          and at least a name field must be present. You may <\/p>

          also want to include:<\/p>

          -Email Address<\/p>

          -Phone Number<\/p>
