Backgrounds do more for a presentation than almost anything else you can change. Four things matter: resolution, contrast, composition, and focus.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Size and resolution<\/h2>\n

Use images of at least 1280 x 720 pixels at 72ppi or higher. Anything smaller or lower will look blurry once it fills the screen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Contrast<\/h2>\n

Composition<\/h2>\n

Background videos<\/h2>\n

Movement holds attention. Anywhere you have text on screen for a while, or button choices waiting for the viewer to pick, a background video keeps the slide alive.<\/p>\n

    Tips & Tricks: <\/strong>Background Images<\/strong><\/p>

    Our presentation themes are a wonderful \u00a0jumping off point, but one of the great things about myiDecide presentations is that you can completely customize it to match your brand! One of the most important aspects of your presentation will be the background images. Having great visuals can be the breaking point between an eye catching and engaging presentation or something your viewers will have to suffer through. Here are some tips and tricks to creating the best looking presentation for your company! <\/p>

    Size<\/strong>\u00a0& <\/strong>Resolution<\/strong><\/p>

    The scale of your images is highly important in creating an impressive and visually pleasing presentation. Your images should be a minimum of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels with a resolution of 72ppi or higher. <\/strong>Any smaller or lower resolution will severely diminish the quality and give you a potentially blurry image.<\/p>

    You want to choose a background that will have a high contrast against your message. <\/strong>If your text and background colors \u00a0are too similar in shade or tone it will be difficult on the eyes to read. The greater the contrast the better. <\/p>

    Composition is also a key factor in increasing legibility. It is much easier to read your message against negative space in a photo rather than on top of the subject matter. <\/strong><\/p>
