How do I allow my viewer to choose their own path<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You can let your viewer choose where they'd like to go next by utilizing the Auto-Advanace or Actions features. This is particularly helpful when adding a Main Menu so the viewer can go to the slides of the section they chose, then back to the Main Menu to choose another section!<\/p>\n

What is Auto-Advance<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When you want a slide to move automatically to another slide without any viewer action, this is called Auto-Advance<\/strong>. The presentation progresses on its own once the slide finishes.<\/p>\n

What are Actions?<\/h2>\n

Simply put, Actions are what make an iDecide presentation interactive. They allow viewers to choose what they want to see next, so they only explore the content that interests them most.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>

Using Auto- Advance<\/h2>\n

To set a slide to auto-advance, click Slide<\/strong> in the left-hand menu, then select Auto-Advance<\/strong>. Using Actions<\/h2>\n

When you want viewers to click a button or image to navigate to a specific section, you\u2019ll use Actions<\/strong>. Simply click the button or image, select Actions<\/strong>, and choose an option from the dropdown. You can set it to go to a slide, open a link, toggle content, or finish the presentation.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>

    What is a <\/strong>Timeline<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>

    In simple terms, a timeline is the linear guild that tells the order of events. However, an iDecide or a myiDecide is not meant to be linear. Our presentations allow you to express yourself and company so that others can get a chance to know and understand you while also giving them the freedom to pick and choose the topics they may be interested in. <\/p>

    How does a timeline work with a <\/strong>myiDecide<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>

    \"Knowledge<\/figure>Glad you asked! As you already know our presentations are interactive. Meaning the viewers have a certain level of control of what direction they take in a presentation. A timeline allows you to make sure they watch your content in a certain order, but with that said, you can have optional topics throughout your presentation that viewers can choose to see.

    How to <\/strong>direct<\/strong>\u00a0your audience?<\/strong><\/p>

    myiDecide uses a simple system where you can choose what buttons and slides send the viewer. To <\/p>

    do this, you go into your edit tab after making your timeline and choose which slide you\u2019d like to edit.

    After you\u2019ve selected what slide you want to edit, you will be able to coordinate where your slide buttons will send the viewers based on their choices!<\/p>

    Here are examples as well as what you can expect to see when editing:<\/strong><\/p>

    • The \u201cButton Target<\/strong>\u201d section is where you will determine where the viewer will go after they click on a specific button.

      • After finding where the \u201cButton Target<\/strong>\u201d section is, select what slide destination you would like them to go to next.<\/li><\/ul>
