Auto-Advance moves the viewer forward on its own. Actions let the viewer choose where to go. Together they are what make a presentation interactive instead of linear.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Auto-Advance<\/h2>\n

Use it when a slide should move on by itself once it finishes, with no click from the viewer. This is what brings each section back to the Main Menu automatically so they can choose another topic to learn about. <\/p>\n

  1. Click Slide<\/strong> in the left hand menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Auto-Advance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Use the Next Slide<\/strong> dropdown to choose what plays next.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Actions<\/h2>\n

    Use them when the viewer should click a button or an image to choose their own path. This is what makes a Main Menu work: the viewer picks a section, watches it, then comes back to the menu to pick another.<\/p>\n

      What happens if you set neither<\/h2>\n

      A slide with no interaction defaults to auto-advance to the next slide on your timeline. So a presentation can be linear if you want it to be, it just does not have to be.<\/p>\n

      Setting an Action on a slide sets that slide's Auto-Advance to No\/Off.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

      Tip:<\/strong> Name your slides before you start wiring up destinations.         What is a <\/strong>Timeline<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>

        In simple terms, a timeline is the linear guild that tells the order of events. However, an iDecide or a myiDecide is not meant to be linear. Our presentations allow you to express yourself and company so that others can get a chance to know and understand you while also giving them the freedom to pick and choose the topics they may be interested in. <\/p>

        How does a timeline work with a <\/strong>myiDecide<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>

        \"Knowledge<\/figure>Glad you asked! As you already know our presentations are interactive. Meaning the viewers have a certain level of control of what direction they take in a presentation. A timeline allows you to make sure they watch your content in a certain order, but with that said, you can have optional topics throughout your presentation that viewers can choose to see.

        How to <\/strong>direct<\/strong>\u00a0your audience?<\/strong><\/p>

        myiDecide uses a simple system where you can choose what buttons and slides send the viewer. To <\/p>

        do this, you go into your edit tab after making your timeline and choose which slide you\u2019d like to edit.

        After you\u2019ve selected what slide you want to edit, you will be able to coordinate where your slide buttons will send the viewers based on their choices!<\/p>

        Here are examples as well as what you can expect to see when editing:<\/strong><\/p>

        • The \u201cButton Target<\/strong>\u201d section is where you will determine where the viewer will go after they click on a specific button.

          • After finding where the \u201cButton Target<\/strong>\u201d section is, select what slide destination you would like them to go to next.<\/li><\/ul>

            • Though iDecide and myiDecide aren\u2019t meant to be linear,\u00a0they can be! <\/strong>\r\n<\/li><\/ul>
              • Slides that don\u2019t have an interaction will default to the next slide<\/strong>\u00a0in your timeline unless specified otherwise.<\/li><\/ul>

                Useful Notes!<\/strong>

                - Naming<\/strong>\u00a0your slides will help you stay organized and prevent confusion when \u00a0 choosing your slide targets and destinations.

                - We\u2019ve also introduced color coding<\/strong>\u00a0so you can better differentiate your slides and topics!<\/p>

                -For a complete presentation experience, your presentation must include an \u201cIntro<\/strong>\u201d slide and \u201cclosing<\/strong>\u201d slide.<\/p>
